Dorsey was arrested for the stolen car and the warrants. Police questioned the pair and say they found the car’s key card in Dorsey’s front pocket. officers spotted the unoccupied car and report that a short time later two suspects, Ontario resident Jeremiah Dorsey, 21, and Peiyeu Irwin, 27, from Claremont, approached and attempted to enter the Tesla. The company tracked the car through its onboard GPS system and told officers the Tesla was currently parked in front of El Barrio Park. He was transported to Claremont jail where he was held for detoxification and released with a citation to appear at Pomona Superior Court.Ī representative from the Tesla car company contacted Claremont police to report that a 2022 Model S, which had been purchased at the Upland dealership using a fraudulent identification and credit report, was in the city of Claremont. Heo was arrested for DUI and possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, both misdemeanors. During a check of the vehicle the officers say they located a loaded gun. Officers say they smelled the odor of marijuana and conducted sobriety tests which they say showed that Heo was under the influence of cannabis. When police asked Heo to exit the vehicle he forgot to put in park and had to jump back in to apply the brakes. He allegedly told officers he had a gun in the car. Police say the driver, Fontana resident Ryan Heo, 20, was emotional and upset over an argument with his wife. BLOTTER CALENDAR DRIVEROfficers say the driver then ran the stop sign at First Street and Columbia Avenue, after which police conducted a traffic stop. The radar in the patrol car reportedly displayed the vehicle’s speed as 59 mph in a 40 mph zone. officers on patrol in the area of Claremont Boulevard and Sixth Street allegedly saw a white Hyundai Elantra traveling at high rate of speed. ![]()
